WEED love
to have your help in the Community Mission Garden. Our VEAP garden is
doing well and the ‘tater tires are almost ready to grow into their second
tire. We usually meet on Friday mornings to tend the garden and tackle
small projects around HoP. Are you looking for a way to help with little
commitment? We invite you to spend some time in solitude while tending to
the garden and pulling weeds. No skills necessary. No tools
necessary. You can leave the pulled weeds near the compost bin and they
will be disposed of. If you have questions, contact Kim Houle at 612-558-0634. Thanks for doing God’s work with your hands!

TIRES 'N TATERS!
We finished our plantings just in time for this past weekend's rain-fest. No doubt the seedlings are jumping for joy in their new "digs". Sandy and Cal Jenson spent much of their Memorial Day weekend planting. Thanks to Mike Murphy for once again generously donating tomatoes, kale, eggplant, and marigolds.
We have started our potato tire towers with two towers forming in the South bed. This is an experiment for us and we have no idea what to expect, so we have also planted potatoes in our raised bed to give us a comparison.
Planted to date: Potatoes, tomatoes, cucumbers, cabbage, carrots, radishes, and kale.
Let the growing begin!
